In 2017, The Wills Group has consolidated its efforts within Retail Marketing and SMO Energy to transition from hosting our annual golf tournaments in support of the American Cancer Society (SMO Energy) and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Dash In), to hosting one significant and memorable event. We are pleased to share this news, and to announce the “Blackie Wills Golf Classic & Gala.” This 2-day event will help sustain our commitment to support community-based organizations and programs whose core missions are aligned with our vision. With your generous support, combine with matching dollars from The Wills Group, our goal for the 2017 Blackie Wills Golf Classic & Gala is to raise $300,000 to eliminate childhood hunger and ensure safe and healthy homes across our markets.

The Blackie Wills Community Leadership Fund (BWCLF) is a component fund within Chesapeake Charities, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Your donation to the BWCLF is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. In return for a donation of $250 or more to the BWCLF, you will receive a tax letter from Chesapeake Charities for the portion of your gift that is tax deductible.
