The Next Generation Dash In Experience
The new Indian Head Dash In location represents the latest evolution in the brand’s reimagined convenience concept and our continued commitment to fresh, quality food. Following the successful launch of our first next generation concept store in Loudoun County, Virginia, last year, that led with a food-forward menu concept, our retail team is redefining the convenience store experience with an emphasis on elevated guest experiences and community engagement.
The new location, spanning 4,800 square feet, boasts multiple fueling stations and features an all-new In-Bay Automatic Splash In ECO Car Wash with both air & vacuum services available. Our Dash In Rewards program complements the site offerings by allowing our guests to save on fuel, car washes, and food with the convenience of mobile ordering and payment.
Inside, guests will find modern branding with an open kitchen focused on fresh-food, a craft beverage wall, and a store with open sightlines stocked with everyday conveniences. Foodservice takes center stage at our next generation Dash In, offering an elevated dining experience that rivals casual restaurants while still providing the convenience and speed of a traditional store.
Our new signature menu includes “Made for You and Fresh to Go” options, from specialty burgers and homemade chips to oven-fresh goods, all prepared in-house. Highlights include hearty main course salads like the Southwest Steak and Crispy Chicken Cobb, inventive Dash In Kitchen Bowls such as La Cocina and the Veggie Power, and guest favorites like Stackadillas.
True to our dedication to quality and convenience, breakfast is served all day, featuring freshly cracked eggs alongside other items like fresh biscuits, croissants, and mini-donuts. A self-serve beverage wall completes the dining experience with bean-to-cup coffee and an automated shake and smoothie machine that can mix to order over 40 different beverages on demand.
At the heart of it all is our Dash In Guest Concierge service, a novel approach to guest experiences that brings a personal touch to every visit. Our concierges are there to provide a warm welcome, guide you through our offerings, and ensure every experience is tailored to your needs. Whether it’s recommending a new item from the menu or helping you navigate our rewards program, they’re there to enhance your visit.
A New Dawn in Indian Head
For nearly 25 years, Indian Head’s 8,000 residents and employees at the Naval Surface Warfare Center have lacked easy access to fresh, affordable food. Recognizing an opportunity to expand our footprint and make a difference in our neighboring community, the Wills Group partnered with Oasis Fresh Food Market, LifeStyles of Maryland, and the Town of Indian Head to reverse the town’s food desert status.
Set to open this year, the locally owned Oasis Fresh Food Market will be the first grocery store in Indian Head since 1999, offering fresh produce, meats, seafood, and supermarket staples. Last year, the Wills Group donated $50,000 toward the development of a community garden to be built next to the Oasis market. The garden will serve as a vibrant gathering space where residents can grow fresh fruits and vegetables and host community events.
This effort, fueled by our Community Engagement Signature Programs, Nourishing Children and Families and Reimagining Outdoor Spaces, seeks long-term solutions to food accessibility while serving as a hub for outdoor recreation and events. In partnership with our new Dash In store, these initiatives are pivotal in changing Indian Head’s food desert status and kickstarting the town’s social and nutritional revival.
Celebrate the Grand Opening of Dash In Indian Head
We’re thrilled to invite the Indian Head community and beyond to the grand opening celebration of our newest Dash In store on April 4th and 5th. This two-day event celebrates our new location and announces further philanthropic pledges to local organizations such as LifeStyles of Maryland, Henry E. Lackey High School, and the Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
